Terms of Service

1. 1. Acceptance

By accessing or using AI Bible Coach ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. 2. Description of Service

AI Bible Coach is an AI-powered platform designed to help users engage with and understand the Bible. The AI provides responses grounded in Scripture and is intended as a supplement to — not a replacement for — pastoral care, personal Bible study, prayer, or local church community.

3. 3. Subscriptions and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are as shown on the Pricing page at time of purchase.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. 4. Community Fund and Covered Seats

• Covered seats are a community resource made available at our discretion. Applying does not guarantee access.
• Applications must be made in good faith. Providing false information to obtain a covered seat may result in account termination.
• Covered seats rotate quarterly. We reserve the right to revoke covered access if circumstances change or if community demand exceeds supply.

5. 5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Generate content that promotes hatred, violence, or illegal activity
• Attempt to manipulate the AI into contradicting clear biblical teaching
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying model
• Share account credentials or enable unauthorized access

6. 6. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

The AI is designed to be grounded in Scripture but it is not infallible. Responses should be verified against the Bible itself. AI Bible Coach is not a licensed counselor, therapist, or medical professional. For mental health crises, abuse, or emergencies, please contact appropriate in-person resources. The AI's responses do not constitute professional theological, legal, or medical advice.

7. 7. Intellectual Property

The platform, its design, and underlying software are owned by AI Bible Coach. Bible text displayed through the Service is sourced from publicly available translations and APIs under their respective licenses. Your conversation content remains your own, though we store it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. 8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any reason with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

9. 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Bible Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. 10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
